A group of Adelaide AFLW stars visited the Women’s and Children’s Hospital last Friday to meet kids that are doing it tough.
Part of an Adelaide Crows Foundation run initiative, reigning best and fairest winner Anne Hatchard led the group of players that went to the hospital to brighten the children’s day.
Hatchard said it was a thrill to put smiles on the kids’ faces and give back to the community.
“It means a lot to the kids, to see the smiles on their faces. It is such a great feeling,” Hatchard said.
“They might not get too many visitors or have the best time in hospital, so to come in here, get to know them and put a smile on their face is wonderful and a great initiative to be a part of.”
